Privacy Policy
The short version. We collect what you send us through the consultation form, and nothing else. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party scripts on this site. We use your information to respond to your enquiry and to do the work you hire us for. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising. Files you upload are stored privately and are never published on this website.
1. Who we are
JEH Consulting of Idaho, a DBA of JEH Electronics, based in Nampa, Idaho. This policy covers the website at jehconsultingofidaho.com and the consultation intake form on it.

2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
Everything in this section comes from the consultation form. Only your name and email address are required; every other field is optional, and leaving one blank has no effect other than giving us less to work with.

2.2 Files you upload
The form lets you upload images for your website and any brand or color guidelines you already have. These go straight into private storage. They are never published on this website, never made publicly accessible, and never shared with anyone outside our work for you.
When you submit the form you confirm you have the right to share the files you send. Please do not upload anything confidential, regulated or sensitive — passwords, financial records, health information, customer data — through this form. It is built for logos and photographs. If you need to send us something sensitive, contact us first and we will arrange a secure method.
2.3 Information collected automatically
When you submit the form, our systems also record:
- Your IP address and the country it resolves to
- The date and time of the submission
We keep these two things for one reason: to detect and block automated abuse of the form. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to track you across other sites.
Our hosting provider also processes standard technical request data in the course of delivering pages to you and protecting the site from attack.
2.4 What we do not collect
To be explicit, this website has:
- No cookies. The site sets none at all.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no page-view tracking, no heatmaps.
- No advertising or social media trackers. No pixels, no retargeting.
- No third-party fonts or scripts. Everything the site loads is served from our own domain, so your browser does not quietly contact other companies while you read this page.
The one exception is the bot-protection check on the consultation form, described in section 4.
3. How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
- Prepare a proposal, scope and quote
- Carry out the work, if you decide to hire us
- Keep records of our business dealings with you
- Protect the form from spam and automated abuse
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it for anyone else's marketing. We will not add you to a mailing list from this form — if we ever start a newsletter, you would have to ask to join it.
4. Who else can access it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and deliver email. They process your information only to provide their service to us, and each is bound by its own agreement with us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. How long we keep it
- Consultation requests and uploaded files: up to 12 months after your enquiry closes or the project ends, then deleted.
- Records of work we did for you: longer where we need them for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
- Abuse-prevention data (IP address, country): retained with the submission record and deleted alongside it.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see section 7.
6. How we protect it
We are a security consultancy, so we hold our own systems to the standard we would recommend to you:
- The whole site is served over HTTPS.
- Uploaded files go into private storage. They are never served from this website and have no public address.
- When we need to open a file you sent, we use a link that expires after seven days.
- Uploads are checked by inspecting the actual contents of the file, not just its name, and only common image, PDF and ZIP formats are accepted.
- Access to submissions is restricted to us.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. But if a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you promptly and plainly.
7. Your choices
You can contact us at any time to:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct something that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your enquiry and any files you uploaded
- Ask us to stop contacting you
Email info@jehconsultingofidaho.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. We may need to keep some records for tax or legal reasons even after a deletion request, and we will tell you if that applies.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws. We will honour any such request that applies to us.
8. Children
This is a business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
This site links to other websites, and the consultation form invites you to share links to sites you like. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any website we do not operate.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will contact you directly rather than relying on you to notice the update.
